Leaving

I'll be leaving this account for awhile since I'm working on drawings down here.

I'll be back once I finished a Demos fanart.

I've brought a lot of submitted deviations to the scrapbook. Those which I did without much braincells (I think) lol. I'll probably check again if I need to get some back at the featured section, but for now, yep, they'll stay there.

Nothing much, I'm just silently waiting for Christmas.

Visual Novel?

I'm not sure how exactly I'm supposed to call it. Manga? Web comic? Whatever, but I'm trying my hands on it. Lol.

Made a new account for it btw:

L - the movie

2 min read
Yes, after having my old/new blog, Kiasu Crossover, re-opened some days ago, I will still find time to post more entries down here.

Asking about the title? Yep, you got the thought right which happened to be dangling down your mind after reading it. There will be another Death Note movie (I'm sure hard-core Death note fans know this already) which will premiere on February of next year, it's [ L - change the World ] - ALERT: internet-wrecking site because of heavy flash content. This time, it will focus on <spoiler>the one-who-died-but-everyone-loves-him-above-all</spoiler> guy, L and it is primarily a spin-off movie. Trying to milk more money from Death note fans, 'ey?

Since Death note mania spread like wildfire upon airing the anime version and the 2-part movie, I kinda lost interest of it (considering  how addicted I was when I was reading the manga back then - oh! those days!) I'll probably take a look on this one when I got the chance, and hopefully won't forget about it. Haha.

Anyway, that's it for the update, I'll try to post more once I got back from a vacation, hopefully by next week.

P.S. I'll probably post 2 more artwork by next week since my supposedly-Tora-gift that should have been sent to him last September is still 30% away from completion. And I left a finished pencil-sketch of another fanart, Tieria Erde of Gundam 00. Yay!

It's been ages since I updated. So why don't we start with animes for an appetizer?

I really haven't been watching too much anime lately, I used to download tons of them and honestly, I actually have been left out by a dozen of them. Currently, the ones that I really watch out for is Zombie-Loan, Claymore and Devil may Cry. I'm not gonna bore you people by giving you the synopsis, just check out the links they'll lead you to Anime News Network pages. What to expect from those three? Zombie-Loan is mainly animated by Xebec, expect Ouran Kouko Host Club-looking animation then, unique story too. As for Claymore and Devil may Cry, I think it's suitable for Madhouse Studios to actually do the animation for the two since there's basically countless flying monster heads and other body parts as well as tons of splattering blood here and there. And OMG, yay for Isley's bishie-ness in Claymore! :faint: (Note: Isley - this is how his name is spelled in the manga.)

Those are under blood and gore genre, now we jump to comedy. Very-unfortunately speaking, the only two comedy animes I enjoyed were taken by not-so-diligent subbers, hence, they're not releasing anything for over a month now. Moetan and Doujin Work are exceptional, especially the latter. Moetan is an anime which teaches English to J-otakus. You got magical girls in an anime which gives you that Sailormoon-transforming parody, quite funny, just add the perverted human-turned-animal assistants who gave them their powers. Doujin Work is about a mangaka-wannabe girl who was convinced by her friend, who is a doujin artist for the company "Panty Revolution" and works on rape mangas. Imagine that? It's really crazy!

I'm still doing a Black Lagoon marathon and trying to keep up with Darker than Black. And more of the magical girl genre, which I don't why... (Kamichama Karin and Nanatsuiro Drops) Some more of those good stuff that I left off wherein you might want to try as well (D.Gray-man, Seto no Hanayome, Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi) By the way, has anyone watched Rebuild of Evangelion's first episode? I so wanna see it...

As for music, nothing new, same old artists. Oh! but Aqua Timez is cool, as well as the (so far) latest miyavi stuff, a wild transition of music, I'm kind of lost in what to call the genre of his latest album now. Imagine, his songs mixed with turntable scratches and beatbox stuff? :omg: Amazing really, though I hate the hairstyle.

As you can see up there, I'm currently reading the Mayfair witches series of Anne Rice. When I went to the Humanities section of my university's library, I just realized I haven't read that series so I borrowed "Lasher". I found out there's actually a prequel, "The Witching Hour" so I ended up downloading the whole series. Anyway, I'll be finishing the Vampire Chronicles and Mayfair series since I just found out they're actually interconnected. Poor me, and then I say I'm a fan of Anne Rice. Disgrace.

I haven't really been playing too much video games recently, my brother just got Magna carta: Tears of Blood a couple of weeks ago and I found it really interesting. One thing for sure, if you enjoyed The Legend of Dragoon's battle system, you'll definitely love this. Though the English dub was nothing extraordinary, I even think I'd probably like the original Japanese voices better. What more? Hyung Tae Kim's character design! (Who doesn't know, right?) But what's funny was I really got confused whether Calintz (main guy protagonist) was really a he or a she . By the way, I have 2 more games on my list, there's Fatal Frame III: The Tormented and Onimusha : Dawn of Dreams. My cousin, he has better be good at those than me, or else... :evillaugh:

Art updates? I'm planning on a birthday gift for alice nine.'s Tora this September. It has to be something spectacular at that which will definitely make him "WHOA!". As if I can really do something like that. I'd definitely try, I'm 100% sure alice nine. reads their fanmails since they expect 90% of their fanmails coming from Japan (screw them, they always get the good stuff!). Anyway, again, expect Tora-ism this month, probably something like Tora cosplaying DBZ or what. :XD:
